Things have slowed down a bit with the arrival of summer, but the LG TDM Tournament is still moving along slowly.
All the matches leading up to the semi-finals have now been played, the two semi-final matches will be sog vs AuW and SO vs CAD. These are new LG opponemts for all concerned, none of the sides having met previously in the TKOTH series. Good luck and good games to everybody particpating in these matches.
The brackets for the LG TDM competition have finally been drawn, despite the Admins sleeping in late on Sunday morning. We have 10, possibly 12 teams playing, so brackets have been drawn that give a number of teams a “Bye” in the first round.
Good luck to all the teams involved, we hope it will be as much fun at the TKOTH competition was.
Brackets for the Last Glory Team Deathmatch competition will be drawn at midnight Saturday / Sunday 21/22 June. If you are thinking of entering a team please have to team details and members signed up by this time.
As with the TKOTH matches, each match will be the best of 5 maps. The maps rotation will be: Beachead, Meat Grinder, Trenchlines, Hill Country and Snow Valley. Kill Limit = 100 kills.
The Last Glory tournament rules have been updated to cover the TDM competition.
In a hard fought match, Shades of Grey (sog) beat Element X (.eX) to win the final of the Last Glory TKOTH brackets and become LG TKOTH Champions. sog won the first 3 maps of the 5 map match to become winners without loosing a single map in the entire TKOTH competition. Playoffs for 3rd and 4th place between .SO and CAD will take place next weekend, good luck to both teams.
Congratulations to sog in winning, and also to all the teams that have taken part in the TKOTH competion. We have seen some excellent matches played so far, and we hope that this will continue with in the TDM competition that will be starting soon. Signups are still open for the next week or so, so if you have not yet entered a team, now is a good time to do so.
This weekend sees the semi-finals for the TKOH championship, .eX and .SO are playing on Saturday, sog and CAD on Sunday, so by the end of Sunday evening we should all know who will be playing in the finals next week. We have seen some really good matches played by all of the teams taking part, the in-game Moderators have certainly enjoyed watching them.
As the TKOH brackets come closer to the final, now is a good time to start thinking of the next series of matches, the TDM competion. If your squad has not yet signed up for this there is still plenty of time to do so, we have room for several more teams in the next set of brackets.
Good luck and good games to everybody playing this weekend.
Punkbuster has been running on all of the LG servers for just over 3 weeks now, and was used during the first round of TKOTH matches. The PB Server Logs and Screenshots are reviewed by LG Admin Staff in an effort to keep the LG Tornament cheat free. All of the matches have so far passed off without incident, but PB has so far caught 2 hackers attempting to play in the LG Public server. These are:
cZn.ToeTags. PCID 9Y-W323XG. Already a known hacker with 1 banned Player Character on this account, it looks like he is detirmined to get a second ban and account suspension. cZn are not registered to play matches in LG at present.
AKILL3 / Tiz.CaT.-. PCID A4A-9FBCFA. PB caught this player attempting to play under a the AKILL3 name, but the Server Logs prove that it belongs to the same account as TiZ.CaT.-. This did not happen during the CaT vs YwK match, rather in the LG Public server. The leader of the CaT has been informed about this already. CaT were knocked out in the first round of the TKOH tournament, but they are welcome to play in future brackets provided TiZ.CaT.-. is dropped from their team roster.

• Babstats are resetted for the gameserver competition.
The Babstats have been resetted, so all statics from before are cleared.
From now on everyone can play for the free DFX gameserver, the person who is on top at May 31st 0:00 CET will win this prize.
The gameserver is called "LastGlory.net" and runs punkbuster, good luck to everyone who is willing to take this challenge.

Today at 0:00 CET the TKOH registrations will be closed so if your team isn`t approved you wont be able to participate in the first LG competition.
Right after it we will draw the brackets with an automatic script that will devide the teams.
So far there are 3 spots left, so teams are still welcome to sign up or fill their rosters to minimal 6 players.
Good luck to all teams that will take part of this tournament and be sure to have punkbuster working.
All Last Glory servers now have punkbuster enabled so in order to play u will need to have it installed, this also applies for our public server.
Please be sure that u and ur entire team have tested out their punkbuster for atleast 4 maps so we wont come for any surprises when the matches start. If there are any questions regarding punkbuster then please post them in our technical support forums. We will be happy to help out.
The LG management.

• Punkbuster will be required for all Last Glory matches
Punkbuster Poll closed - results 50 - 15 in favour of using PB
After running for just over a week, the Punkbuster "Yes or No" poll closed with 65 members voting 50 - 15 in favour of using Punkbuster in the Last Glory tornament. The LG Admin Staff are happy to go along with this vote and, as a result, Punkbuster will be installed on all Last Glory servers before the matches begin.
The Punkbuster client can be downloaded from here or directly from the Downloads page on LG site. It is less then 2Mb in size, instructions on how to install it will be posted in the "Technical Support" section.
Punkbuster Poll - should matches be played on PB servers?
Since we opened the tournament website up for signups, we have had a lot of questions about whether we will or will not be running Punkbuster in the Last Glory servers. We are still considering this, but in order to help the LG Admin Staff with their decision, we have opened up a poll for LG players to vote on.
If you have not already voted, please can you make sure you vote - the poll can be found on the bottom left of the main screen. If we do decide to run PB then we will provide links to the required download and instructions on how to install PB.
